Corporate Partnerships

Corporate Partnerships provide the opportunity for companies to contribute to ANGLICARE’s work in the community.
Our programs provide physical, financial, emotional and spiritual assistance to help people in need to break the cycle of hardship.

Corporate partnerships can include sponsorship or donations to one of our community programs, capital projects or events. Another option is volunteering employee time to directly assist at one of our centres.

“Corporate Care Partnerships” might involve:

• Sponsorship of Events

• Company In-Kind primary product support and Pro-Bono service support

Community Care Centres – located at Bondi, Cabramatta, Mt Druitt, Nowra, Penrith and Wollongong

Emergency Relief – assistance families in financial crisis
Family Support – programs to assist vulnerable and disadvantaged families

Carramar Early Interventions - for pregnant and parenting young mothers and their children
Foster Care – permanent and temporary
Lisgar Youth Support – mentoring, casework, counselling, family restoration and support
Paul Street Adolescent Residential Program – for 12-17 year olds
Street Outreach services for homeless youth in Parramatta & Cabramatta

Disability and Carer Services

Kingsdene Special School and Residences – for children with disabilities
Disability Care – day respite care
Westlink Respite Services – A range of respite services for carers who have a child with a disability.
WHIRLS (Westlink Head Injury Recreation & Leisure Service) - A social and recreation group for adults aged 18 – 65 with an acquired brain injury.

Counselling

Couples, families, individual adults, children and adolescents, refugees, carers.

Caring for communities

ANGLICARE Shops - provide inexpensive, good quality clothing. Located at Blacktown, Bomaderry, Burwood, Fairfield, Hornsby, Liverpool, Miller, Narellan, Parramatta, Penrith, Richmond, Rockdale, Rosemeadow, St Marys, Summer Hill, Wollongong

Q: What is ANGLICARE?: A: ANGLICARE is the urban mission and community care arm of the Sydney Anglican Church. As one of Australia’s largest Christian care organisations, ANGLICARE reaches out to thousands of people in need every year throughout Sydney, Blue Mountains, Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions, by doing good works that grow communities and address emotional, social and physical needs.
Q: How long has ANGLICARE been doing its community work?: A: As a widely recognised leader in the provision of community and aged care services, ANGLICARE has been offering community and personal support to the people of greater Sydney for over 150 years. Since our foundations in 1856 ANGLICARE has supported the wider community throughout the depressions of the 1890’s and 1930’s and other various recessions which have followed.
Q: What kind of support is ANGLICARE looking for from a corporate?: A: As we continue to grow and expand, so will our need to engage with Corporate Australia for support in a variety of ways including sponsorship, donations, employee(er) workplace pay-role deductions, employee volunteer days, In-Kind primary service support and Pro Bono advice. This support will ensure we continue to make a difference to those within our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Q: What are the major community service areas which are offered by ANGLICARE?: A: ANGLICARE currently offers a wide range of community services in four main categories: Caring for children and young people for those experiencing trauma, abuse and family breakdown as well as children with disabilities; Caring for families in financial crisis and those requiring inexpensive quality clothing; Caring for communities where counselling and other emotional support is needed; Caring for the aged in residential and respite care.
Q: What is Corporate Volunteering?: A: ANGLICARE can offer a company the opportunity to have their staff volunteer their time in helping us maintain and/or enhance the services we offer our clients. Volunteering enables companies and their employees to become directly involved in our community work and see the facilities we provide. The gift of your time allows your company to get involved right down at the ‘grass roots’ level where a group of your staff can do something meaningful that directly will assist those in need within the community.. Depending on the facility, volunteering can be indoor or outdoor renovation as well as garden restoration projects such as sensory gardens used by our facility residents. Each day is planned between your company and an ANGLICARE representative. The day is organised where your staff know where and when they are required to be and what is going to be worked on during their time with us. Some projects are short and require just a single day whereas other projects may require a number of days over a longer period of time.
Q: What commitment is expected from a company who partners with ANGLICARE?: A: The commitment to ANGLICARE will vary company to company. Corporate Partnerships start with a shared vision, matching the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focus with an ANGLICARE service or program. Corporate support can come in from a number of areas (donations, workplace giving and volunteering just to name a few) however the support usually starts quite modestly and grows over time as both parties become more familiar with each other and the changing needs in the community.
