Corporate Fundraising Lunch - A Winter's Tale
Over 200 guests attended A Winter’s Tale corporate lunch which was held on Friday 19 June 2009 at the Amora Jamison Hotel in Sydney.
The guests were a variety of senior executives and managers from the Sydney business community, ANGLICARE’S major donors and business associates.
Our keynote speaker was the Hon John Anderson, former Deputy Prime Minister who spoke of the Christ centred work that ANGLICARE does daily to assist those less fortunate in our society and the need for organisations like ANGLICARE to break the cycle of poverty which many of our clients find themselves in. At the lunch our CEO, Mr Peter Kell launched a 50 page research paper outlining the Sydney Experience of Social Exclusion which our clients face every day.
