Have you thought about running or walking in this year’s City 2 Surf?
Well it’s a time to get out your joggers and become apart of one of our country’s greatest community events.

But this year you can have even more reason to take part. Have you ever wanted to make a statement about how much you care for those who are struggling and in need? Well now you can, with ANGLICARE’s ‘CARE 2 Run’ campaign!

ANGLICARE’s ‘CARE 2 Run’ campaign gives you the opportunity to get your friends, family, church and/or work mates to sponsor you in this year’s City 2 Surf. It’s really easy! All you need to do is:

1. Go to the City2Surf website and register to go in the race: http://city2surf.sunherald.com.au/home.php

2. Click on the ‘start fundraising’ button and type in ANGLICARE as your chosen charity (just type our name in the search field)

3. Set up your own personal fundraising page

             4. Email your page’s link to all your friends, family and contacts and ask them to support you as an ANGLICARE partner

By becoming a ‘CARE 2 Run’ partner, you will help raise money for one these three great community programs:

•            $200 will help fund our indigenous work in Redfern for a day
•            $400 will help fund our relief work in Darlinghurst for two days
•            $1,000 will help fund our work in Parramatta Street Outreach with homeless youth for two days

There are also really great prizes up for grabs for our top fundraisers!

As one of our ‘CARE 2 Run’ partners, you will also get free entry into Café ANGLICARE – a post-run event held at St Andrews Anglican, Bondi, with fantastic live music, fun family activities and delicious food! There’ll be something for everyone!

Even if you’re not able to run, please consider encouraging a friend to run and sponsor them or support the event by simply making a donation to the great work of ANGLICARE. We’d really appreciate your support in making this campaign known to as many people as possible.
