ANGLICARE launches its 2008 Winter Appeal
Through Jesus’ story of the Good Samaritan we are reminded that there are neighbours who need us, and we like the Good Samaritan, are called upon to give what help we can.
The Good Samaritan saw a man in need. He didn’t turn away or try to ignore him. It was probably not convenient or easy, but he crossed the road and gave what help he could. It was that simple and that powerful.
Today that call for both compassion and action at a time of need remains the same, and at winter time those needs are even more acute.
Families on the brink are facing extra pressure this winter – and so is ANGLICARE.
