Street party to thank City2Surf runners

People will be warmly welcomed with hot food and entertainment at Bondi's Café ANGLICARE on Sunday 9 August.

Part of the 2009 City2Surf celebrations, ANGLICARE Bondi will be holding a street party at the Bondi centre to thank runners who raised much needed funds for their program and to celebrate with their local community.

A BBQ, soft drinks, coffee and delicious snacks will provided as well as various family activities such as face painting, balloon making, games, crafts and live music.

More than 200 people came to Café ANGLICARE last year to support the charity and make a difference in the lives of others.

As one of Australia’s largest Christian charities ANGLICARE offers assistance to thousands of struggling Australians each year. In 2009 the community organisation will be raising money for its youth counselling program to support young people in the inner city.
