Toys ‘n’ Tucker shares the spirit of Christmas
The spirit of Christmas is alive and well as more than 300 schools, churches, businesses and local members of parliament collect donations for those who would otherwise go without this year.
Every year ANGLICARE’s Emergency Relief program provides financial and food assistance to an estimated 20,000 socially excluded families and individuals who struggle to get by on low income.
Now in its 10th year, ANGLICARE’s Toys ‘n’ Tucker program is a way in which the community can actively provide gifts of toys and food to ANGLICARE’s Emergency Relief program to be distributed to the families who come to the service for support.
This year ANGLICARE is aiming to individually pack and deliver more than 5,000 Christmas hampers and toy parcels to families in Sydney and Wollongong who would otherwise go without.
If you wish to donate gifts to ANGLICARE’s Toys ‘n’ Tucker program this year it’s not too late to participate! The following are a list of places that have agreed to collect donations from the community. Some of the places include:
