Family Support

ANGLICARE Sydney provides a wide range of family support services across the greater Sydney area to the Blue Mountains and south to the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and the Shoalhaven. Families have always been the number one priority for ANGLICARE. In fact there isn’t much we don’t do for families!

Support for the youngest parents and children in our many Early Intervention programs, including home visiting, adoptions, foster care, parenting and family education
Care for families living with disability or frail-aged members, including a special school and hostel care for severely disabled children
Professional counselling services for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing difficulties or relationship breakdown
Support for families experiencing financial stress and hardship
Programs for men, supporting them in their family responsibilities
Family Dispute Resolution services at Family Relationship Centres in Nowra and soon-to-open FRC in Parramatta (July 2008)
Wide range of community education programs and resources in most areas
Programs supporting new settlers including resourcing English classes at over 50 venues in Sydney and Wollongong
Street Outreach program contacting and supporting homeless youth
Many relationship education programs including pre-marriage and relationship enrichment weekends and skills seminars
