ANGLICARE Sydney has a long history of providing support to immigrants to Australia dating back over one hundred years. Our commitment to providing assistance to immigrants has continued almost unbroken since that time.
All of Anglicare Sydney’s services assist migrants and refugees as well as the broader Australian community, based on need. In September 2008, we formed a new Migrant and Refugee Services Department, based in Parramatta, which brought together a number of services that are targeted to assist migrants and refugees.
These services are:
• ESL (English as a Second Language) services
• Small and Emerging Communities Program
• Southern Sudanese Project
• Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy (IHSS) Services for Rural NSW
