Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy for Rural NSW

This IHSS service provides settlement assistance to newly arrived refugees (visa subclass 200 and 204) and humanitarian entrants (visa subclass 202) arriving in rural NSW. This service is funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
These services include:


• Case Coordination, Information and Referrals
• On-Arrival Reception and Assistance
• Accommodation Services
• Short-term Torture and Trauma Counselling Services
• Volunteer Coordination
• Advocacy and Raising Community Awareness
• Proposer Support


The IHSS Rural Program is managed out of Sydney with sub-contractors and case workers working in various rural areas.
