Welcome to Anglicare Guest Wi-Fi, provided to you by Anglican Community Services (Anglicare) ABN 39 922 848 563 Level 2, 62 Norwest Boulevard, Norwest NSW 2153.

Terms governing your use of the Wi-Fi

1.1. Access to and use of this Wi-Fi connection is subject to these Terms of Use. Any personal information collected by Anglicare will at all times be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. 1.2. Please read these terms of use carefully. Anglicare may at any time revise these Terms of Use. Since you are bound by these Terms of Use each time you access and use a Wi-Fi connection, you should carefully review these Terms of Use each time you do so.

1.3. By accessing this Wi-Fi connection, you are agreeing to these Terms of Use.

1.4. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, any reference to “us”, “we” or “our” means Anglicare and "you" or "your" means the individual using the Wi-Fi connection.


Connecting to the Wi-Fi

2.1. Each Wi-Fi connection location can only support a limited number of users accessing the Wi-Fi connection at any one time. We do not warrant or represent that you will be able to access and/or use the Wi-Fi connection immediately or each time you visit a Wi-Fi connection.

2.2. You are responsible for providing your own computer or mobile device (which must be a wireless enabled device) that can access a Wi-Fi connection with its own power source. You must not use the Wi-Fi connection under any circumstances if you do not have express permission of the lawful owner of the wireless enabled device.

2.3. We do not guarantee that the Wi-Fi connection will be compatible with any devices or software which you may use to connect to the Wi-Fi connection.


Speed and Reliability of the Wi-Fi connection

3.1. The speed and throughput of each Wi-Fi connection will vary depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to: the capabilities of your wireless enabled device; the physical location of the wireless access points within Anglicare; Wi-Fi connection user traffic during time of access, general internet congestion, wireless signal interference and the location of your wireless enabled device within Anglicare whilst accessing the Wi-Fi connection.

3.2. We will use reasonable endeavours to provide you with a reliable, stable and secure access to the Wi-Fi connection but make no guarantees that access to the Wi-Fi connection will be continuous, fault-free or secure. This Wi-Fi connection access is not suitable for supporting any application or use which requires continuous, fault-free network connectivity or uninterrupted data traffic flow.

3.3. We will use reasonable endeavours to monitor and attend to any Wi-Fi connection faults, malfunctions or other problems associated with the Wi-Fi connection access but will not be liable or obligated to rectify is such problems occur.


User Obligations and Limitations

4.1. The Wi-Fi connection is intended to be used in a fair and "community-minded" manner. We may limit or block certain websites and/or content that you seek to access whilst using the Wi-Fi connection. We may also block or limit access to websites and/or content that we consider are not "family friendly" or may bring negative exposure or harm to Anglicare’s reputation.

4.2. All content access via the Wi-Fi connection will first pass through firewalls, anti-virus and other managed security systems prior to being delivered to your wireless enabled device These protections are determined and set in our sole discretion.


Suspension and Termination

5.1. We may immediately suspend, terminate or limit your access to the Wi-Fi connection if:

(a) you are in breach of these Terms of Use;
(b) you attempt to manipulate or bypass any limitations of the Wi-Fi connection by any means;
(c) you behave in a vexatious, illegal, inappropriate, or unsociable manner;
(d) we believe on reasonable grounds that there is a real risk of serious loss or damage to us or a third party if we do not suspend, terminate or limit your access;
(e) there is an emergency; or
(f) there is an unusually high use of a Wi-Fi connection.


Security

6.1. The internet is an inherently unsecure communication medium. Whilst we will use reasonable endeavours to provide secure access through this Wi-Fi connection, we cannot always guarantee the security of the Wi-Fi connection. You are solely responsible for any information or data uploaded, downloaded or otherwise communicated via the Wi-Fi connection and you are responsible for keeping all usernames, passwords and other security-based information secure and private at all times.

6.2. We are not responsible for the content of any website accessed or used via the Wi-Fi connection. Your access to and use of any website or network connection whilst using the Wi-Fi connection is entirely at your own risk


Limitation of Liability

7.1. To the full extent permitted by law we exclude all representations, warranties or terms (whether express or implied) other than those expressly set out in these Terms of Use.

7.2. No liability will be accepted by us for any loss, or damage caused by the use of this Wi-Fi connection. Your access to and use of this Wi-Fi connection is entirely at your own risk, we make no warranties or representations as to the accessibility, security, stability or reliability of this Wi-Fi connection and we specifically disclaim any liability or responsibility for any Wi-Fi connection faults, failures or interruptions or the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, security or reliability of any communications (including, without limitation, any transactions) made using the Wi-Fi connection.

7.3. Neither we, or any other party involved in delivering the Wi-Fi connection is liable for any loss or damage arising out of your access to, or use of, or inability to use or access, the Wi-Fi connection for any reason whatsoever, even if we have been notified or advised of the possibility of such damages.

7.4. We assume no responsibility, and make no warranty or representation in relation to, and shall not be liable to you in respect of your use of any third party proprietary software.

7.5. We assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damage to, or viruses or other harmful code that may infect your computer or mobile device or other property on account of or in connection with your access to or use of the Wi-Fi connection.
