Chaplaincy is Christian ministry in hard places, bringing a Christian voice to the public sphere. We do this in partnership with Churches which may not have a voice in these places. Anglicare Sydney offers Chaplaincy Training and Support, in partnership with Moore Theological College. Various training is available, whether as a volunteer alongside one of our Chaplains or in preparation for Chaplaincy ministry. Please check what courses are currently available.
Anglicare works in partnership with Churches to run nearly 100 classes in the Sydney Diocese which use ESL ministry as a part of their community outreach. We equip and train them to reach out to migrants and refugees with varying levels of English. We run two ESL training days per year in January and July for all those involved in ESL Ministry in churches.
Anglicare believes in a holisitic approach to life, enabling people to be at their best physically, mentally and spiritually. We run a number of courses and programs that help to develop personal and practical skills, with the hope of benefiting individuals and the community Please check what courses are on offer.
