6-Month Money Back Guarantee - Terms and conditions

  1. This offer is only available to new residents (not currently residing in an Anglicare retirement village):
    (a)    that move into their premises under the retirement village contract between 14 April 2025 and 30 September 2025; 
    (b)    that pay their ingoing contribution for the premises and execute the retirement village contract by 30 September 2025; and
    (c)    where one or more of the residents have not previously used this offer.

  2. Subject to items 1 and 3, if the residents permanently vacate their premises and terminate their retirement village contract within 6 months of the date they first took possession of the premises, Anglicare will refund to the residents:
    (a)    the ingoing contribution (except for any deductions permitted under any other offer the residents have used in connection with the premises such as the contribution towards any downsizing services); and 
    (b)    any recurrent charges paid under the retirement village contract.

  3. This offer is subject to and conditional on the residents:
    (a)    providing at least two (2) weeks written notice to Anglicare Village Management prior to permanently vacating the premises;
    (b)    not moving into a residential aged care facility (whether operated by Anglicare or another provider) or another retirement village operated by Anglicare;
    (c)    providing vacant possession of the premises no more than 6 months of the entry date under their retirement village contract. For clarity, the residents must have returned all keys and removed all furniture, belongings and personal effects;
    (d)    residents will have a maximum 4 weeks to provide vacant possession, from their departure date, i.e. date they physically leave the unit/villa to be eligible for the Money-Back Guarantee.
    (e)    removing and reinstating any alterations or additions to the premises made by the residents, except where Anglicare has provided written consent;
    (f)    making good any damage to the premises caused by the residents;
    (g)    returning the premises in the same condition as the premises were received when the residents first took occupation, fair wear and tear excluded; and
    (h)    leaving the premises in a neat and tidy condition.
