Hope provides services to Syrian, Iraqi and other Middle Eastern refugees, people seeking asylum and humanitarian entrants.
Through the counselling process Hope aims to address issues that refugees may face while transitioning to life in Australia; including family relationships, trauma, loss and mental health issues.
We offer assistance and support to refugees through a range of services, including:
- Family, couple and individual counselling (including children)
- Group work: e.g. Parenting Groups, Women’s Groups, Educational Groups
- Community Development and information forums
Hope Counselling assists refugees to achieve and sustain valued family connections and manage relationships and other difficulties on an individual, couple and family level.
We have an Arabic speaking counsellor and we also use face to face interpreters when necessary.
We provide services in the Parramatta, Fairfield/Liverpool and Canterbury/Bankstown areas.
