Preparing a Will can be a confusing and confronting, but Anglicare is partnering with local solicitors to make it easy and affordable.
On Tuesday 11 February, local solicitors will volunteer their time to help draw up simple Wills or update existing Wills for community members. It only costs $50 and all funds raised go to support the work of Anglicare.
“Creating a will is something that people often put off, yet it is something that can provide much needed security for family and loved ones,” says Paul Fitzpatrick, Program Manager for Food and Financial Assistance, Mt Druitt.
“Our Wills Day is designed to make the process as easy as possible and removes much of the anxiety associated with preparing a will.”
Ms Deborah Coman from Peter Dawson & Associates will be one of the lawyers volunteering her time at the Mt Druitt Wills Day.
“I am looking forward to supporting Anglicare in providing this important community service. Preparing a will is an important step in reducing the burden on your loved ones at a time when they can least cope with further stress. We can help you draft a simple Will to ensure your loved ones will be taken care of after you are gone,” says Ms Coman.
The Mt Druitt Wills Day will be held on Tuesday 11 February 2020 from 8am to 6pm at the Anglicare offices at 94 Kurrajong Ave, Mt Druitt.
Registrations are essential and can be made by calling 1300 111 278.
