An exciting milestone was recently celebrated with the launch of the Anglicare Multi-Language Bible Resource Hub - a new online resource created to help churches and individuals share the gospel more effectively across diverse communities.
The idea for the Hub grew out of conversations with staff and lay people in Sydney Anglican churches who were seeking ways to better connect with English language learners in their local communities. Through these conversations, several common challenges emerged:
In response, the Multi-Language Bible Resource Hub was developed to provide practical support and accessible resources for churches and ministries.
The Hub includes:
More than 40 bilingual church staff and cross-cultural workers contributed to the development of the Hub, bringing valuable insight and experience to the project.
The vision behind the Hub reflects the encouragement of Acts 17:26–27 (Easy English Version):
"God made all the different groups of people. He caused them to live in different places all over the world. God did all this so that people would want to know him."
As communities across Australia continue to grow in cultural and language diversity, the Anglicare Multi-Language Bible Resource Hub offers churches a practical way to build connection, foster belonging and share the hope of Jesus with people from all backgrounds.
