Made for Connection

At Anglicare, we believe everyone is Made for Connection - connection with God, each other and the places we call home.

But sometimes, connections come undone.

Whether you're facing financial hardship, family breakdown or mental health challenges, you're not alone.

We're here to walk with you through life's ups and downs, supporting your practical needs, relationships and wellbeing.

Who we are

We're part of the ongoing story of one of Australia's most experienced Christian care providers.

Building on the work of those who came before us, we seek compassionate justice for anyone who needs support - whether that's you, your family or your community.

Guided by our faith and God's love for all people, we value you for who you are.

What we do

Our programs and initiatives provide holistic, life-changing support.

We connect with individuals and communities by supporting families in crisis, addressing financial disadvantage, caring for the wellbeing of older Australians, and providing a faithful presence through chaplaincy and pastoral care.

Why we do it

We seek to share the love of Jesus through care, connection and community building.

While we're Made for Connection, we recognise that, sometimes, life has a way of loosening the threads. From family and domestic violence to poverty and suicide, many of us face complex and confronting challenges throughout life. But with practical support and compassionate care, change and renewal are possible.

Whatever you're going through, you don't have to go it alone.

The joy of connection.

Whether it's an op-shop volunteer selling pre-loved clothes, a Community Pantry volunteer helping to stretch budgets further, a family fostering a child, or a hospital chaplain sitting at someone's bedside. Moments of connection make all the difference.

How we do it

Change begins with a single step. And we're here to help you take it.

Our work is driven by passionate staff and volunteers, generous supporters and committed carers. By giving their time and skills, they're helping us build a vibrant, caring and connected community.

We offer safe, confidential and compassionate support to help you navigate change, heal from trauma and strengthen your relationships and wellbeing.

Anglicare acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original and ongoing custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work.

Inspired by the gospel of reconciliation in Jesus Christ, Anglicare's vision for reconciliation is a nation in which Australia's First Peoples are restored in dignity, respect, empowerment and opportunity.
