Our MCP Training Day is a time for church volunteers to get together to be trained. Come along to be encouraged and equipped for church ministry. This event is also open to non MCP volunteers. 

This year our training topics include: 

Financial Therapy

What is going through a person’s physical, emotional, and social space when they are under financial stress. Do you want to better understand how to approach and love them as they come to your MCP? How can we cater/care for them and what are some practical tips on loving people who are in need. 

Cultural awareness

Do you live, work, or serve among people from other cultural backgrounds? Do you want to be better equipped to show love to your multicultural neighbours? Do you want to feel more confident relating to them? This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to understand and care for people in their community who come from other nationalities, languages or cultures. 

Evangelism

Have you ever found it hard to talk about Jesus in your conversations? Come to the evangelism workshop to develop and sharpen a range of simple gospel skills through group discussion and practical exercise. 

Christian Wellbeing

A workshop for our church volunteers, this seminar will look at what the bible says about rest and care. How do you look after yourself, in order to look after others? Come to this workshop to learn some practical steps on caring for yourself.
