St. Mark’s Sadleir Community Chaplaincy

Support this program

Partnership with Anglicare allows Beejai Abrahams to be employed through the Community Chaplaincy program three days per week at St. Mark’s, Sadleir.

Your support will enable Beejai to be employed for an additional day each week.

Dave Morgan, Senior Minister at St. Marks says “Beejai, is a valued member of our ministry team, he grew up local, talks local, and understands the local community well, bringing a clear expression of help for today and hope for tomorrow for those on the margins, doing it tough or who have recently been released from prison. Beejai does this through community bbq's, men's life skills courses, Grief support groups, mentoring, and food ministry in partnership with Anglicare. We thank God for Anglicare, and we thank God for Beejai.

Anglicare acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the original and ongoing custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work.

Inspired by the gospel of reconciliation in Jesus Christ, Anglicare's vision for reconciliation is a nation in which Australia's First Peoples are restored in dignity, respect, empowerment and opportunity..
