NEW UNIFORMS 2023

The dining room at Lemongrove Gardens Residential Care recently transformed into a catwalk, with Anglicare volunteers modelling their newly designed shirt at the official launch afternoon tea.

Lemongrove Gardens and Newmarch House volunteers were a part of the consultation process for the new design, with the group opting for something bright and cheerful – and made from material derived from plastic bottles!

Feedback from residents on the new design was very positive, with many commenting that the volunteers will now stand out more in the home. Volunteer Chandra said she feels “very confident and the material is much lighter.”

Linda, the Lifestyle Leader said “I think the colour of the shirts matches the beautiful personalities of the volunteers, so bright and cheerful.”

Sandra and Bronwyn who bring their dogs, Eloise and Danny to the home for pet therapy, were so impressed with the shirts that they are considering transforming one so the dogs have a shirt to wear as well!
