You may remember the collaborative project by ARV/Anglicare and KaRa MINDS -- the KARVIAH study. The wealth of knowledge from the KARVIAH study continues to be reported in highly reputed journals assisting in defining a finite blood test to detect Alzheimer’s Disease risk. Associate Prof Kathryn Goozee and her team at KaRa MINDS (Macquarie Park) continue to work in research and are now recognised as one of the largest private dementia Clinical Trials facilities in Australia.

The KaRa Institute of Neurological Diseases Pty Ltd, or KaRa MINDS, is an institute dedicated to the research and management of Neurological Disease. Founded in 2014 by Dr Kathryn Goozee and Professor Ralph Martins, KaRa MINDS helps find answers for the care, detection, and prevention of dementia.

KaRa MINDS research offers the chance of early intervention and better understanding of the progression of Alzheimer’s Disease.
