Anglicare CEO Simon Miller appointed to the National Aged Care Advisory Council

Anglicare Sydney CEO Simon Miller has been appointed to the National Aged Care Advisory Council. The council provides advice to Government on key matters relating to the aged care sector.

Speaking about the role, Mr Miller said: "At Anglicare we’re passionate about creating life-enriching communities of care, working side by side with those we serve.

“I look forward to supporting older Australians and their families as we work together to create a better aged care experience for all,” he said.

In its announcement, the Chair of the National Aged Care Advisory Council, Andrea Coote commented: “The members of the National Aged Care Advisory Council have wide-ranging expertise and knowledge of the aged care sector. Our refreshed membership will ensure we continue to provide robust advice that reflects the full sector to government.”

Nine members return to the Council and nine new members have been appointed, commencing in January 2024.
