Anglicare Sydney acquires "The Terraces" at Paddington from Presbyterian Aged Care NSW

NewsNovember 1, 2023

Anglicare Sydney has today acquired the Paddington property “The Terraces” from Presbyterian Aged Care NSW, along with the operations and assets in Residential Care and Seniors’ Living on that site.

We are pleased to welcome “The Terraces” staff, residents, and their families into the Anglicare Sydney family and look forward to continuing to provide excellent care and services from 1st November.

Nestled into two and one-half acres of landscaped gardens and architecturally significant buildings designed specifically for residential care and retirement living. “The Terraces” features:

  • a 100-bed residential aged care facility including a 23-bed dementia unit with a private garden
  • 79 stunning independent living apartments are also on-site across four buildings, including the heritage-listed Scottish Hospital which dates back to the 1840’s and has been converted into 9 beautiful house-sized retirement apartments
  • a theatrette, swimming pool, gym, landscaped parks and gardens and an on-site café

A visually stunning, interior-designed, purpose-built facility, it is located less than 500 metres from St. Vincent’s Hospital, close to Rushcutters Bay and within 5 minutes walking distance to shops, cafés and galleries.

“The Terraces” provides Anglicare with more options to serve people in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with our Aged Care, Seniors’ Living and Home Care.
