    Waking up as the soft sunlight filters through your window, gently nudging you to start your day. You take a moment to stretch, knowing there’s no need to hurry. The staff at Dudley Foord House know you prefer to ease into your day, and breakfast is ready when you are.
     
    Eventually you get dressed and head down the hall for breakfast. The dining area welcomes you with a hum of friendly chatter as you sit down and decide what you feel like for breakfast. You enjoy starting your mornings together with your friends.

    Community

    After breakfast, you join the walk and talk group outside to stroll along the garden paths, taking in the greenery and the sounds of birdsong. You’ve always loved gardening and are pleased you have a room that opens out to a private courtyard and garden area. After your walk, you plan on tending to your small garden. The blooms this time of year are so pretty and bring you so much joy. However, your morning wouldn’t be complete without a hug or two, you love hugs and now, living at Dudley Foord House there’s an abundance of them each day.

    As you head inside you notice the men getting set up for their men's group and BBQ lunch, others are sitting in the main lounge having a quiet chat together. These moments of friendship have become a comforting rhythm in your days.

    When lunch and dinner comes around, the dining room has a vibrant energy. Mealtimes are an enjoyable experience that you look forward to, socialising with your friends and with a glass of wine when you choose. You’re grateful for the variety of choices and freshly prepared options the hospitality team prepares each day. Next month you’ve decided to join the food focus group to work with the team on the next menu. You have always enjoyed cooking, so you’re pleased to be involved and contribute.

    As you retire to your room for the evening, you reflect on your day and your time at Dudley Foord House so far.     Fees and charges

    The price selection below is the accommodation payment, also known as the Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD). The accommodation payment can be made in a few different ways, either as;

    1. An upfront lump sum payment of the RAD (which is 100% refundable on your departure)
    2.  A fortnightly Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) is calculated on the price of the room and any unpaid RAD at the current MPIR (Government determined interest rate)
    3.  A combination of both, with a partial RAD payment and the balance paid as a DAP. The higher the RAD amount you contribute, the lower your monthly DAP.
