Anglicare Crisis Appeal

14,788 families risk losing access to critical services on 1 October.

The Federal Government recently made significant changes to how it funds services for people in crisis, which has impacted many large charities like Anglicare with little notice.

This change leaves current Anglicare programs across key suburbs in Sydney and regional NSW without vital funding at the end of the year - a peak time of need for many families we support, like Lily's.

Lily arrived at our Community Pantry, raising two children with complex needs, alone and in poverty.

"I couldn't breathe."

When her washing machine broke, our team stepped in, delivering a brand-new one two days later. Along with emergency food relief and medical appointments, this support created a vital turning point for Lily, who can now "see light at the end of the tunnel."

But on October 1, Anglicare support will no longer be funded for these services in a number of key regions.

We're advocating to the Government, on behalf of those we serve, to find a way forward. We'll do everything we can to keep these vital services going, but we need your help to stand in the gap for 15,000 families.

We need your help to stand in the gap for 15,000 families.

Anglicare started 170 years ago through the compassionate generosity of people like you. That's what we're calling on today.

"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19

Your gift builds the critical bridge that keeps families moving toward lasting change.

Help us keep supporting families like Lily's after October 1.
