This program assists parents, children and young people experiencing the challenges of family separation. We assist parents to manage their conflict to ensure their children feel supported and safe; providing children and young people with a safe space to talk through their family separation.
If you decide to go to Court for a decision regarding your child, the Court may recommend or order either parent, or even both, to participate in a Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Program this Court order of attendance in these programs can occur at any time during the Court process.
Separated parents who are not talking, who are finding it hard to communicate without fighting or having trouble managing parenting arrangements can take advantage of this program. Available for both parents, who can be seen separately it is also available even if only one parent wishes to attend. Children and young people can come along separately for counselling and group work.
