With a long history in providing aged care we understand and implement best practices when caring for people living with dementia. We also understand the need and importance of supporting their families. But unlike other providers, we take dementia care a step further.
Our research to delay, or even prevent, Alzheimer’s disease.
Not content with just providing the best possible care, our goal is to also find ways in delaying, or even preventing, Alzheimer’s disease (AD). In a unique partnership with the McCusker Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, and bringing together ground-breaking knowledge and technology, the team of expert researchers have developed and are undertaking a Dementia Prevention Research study, delivering it directly to those who are most at risk of Alzheimer’s disease – older Australians.
Best dementia care available
The research focuses on finding solutions and we are in the unique position of translating research into clinical practice – a process that can take years. This ensures that your loved one will have the best dementia care available and access to the best positive, healthy ageing initiatives.
If you’re a resident or client with us and you’d like to know more about your risk of dementia, one of our registered nurses can carry out a risk assessment for you. Contact us and we’ll organise this for you.
