Mildred Symons House is located in Sutherland Shire suburb of Jannali, close to parks and waterways. A well-established home, Mildred Symons House originally opened in 1978 but has since been completely rebuilt and is now home to a friendly community of 127 residents. Situated within a peaceful residential area, it is close to shops, cafes and transport.
Constructed over three levels, person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups and space for memory support, respite and palliative care. Each of the floors incorporates open-plan spaces and the courtyards contain chickens, rabbits and birds for the residents to enjoy.
Mildred Symons House has a dedicated lifestyle team to provide regular activities for residents. This team also facilitates our Rhythm of Life® program, giving residents a choice in how they spend their day from meals to activities, outings and more.
All rooms are fitted with electric beds, en-suite bathroom, built in cabinetry, a wardrobe, a cupboard and emergency call buttons. Televisions and phone connections available.
Rooms are designed to cater for ageing in place, such that ongoing care can be provided as resident’s needs change.
