Bay Breeze and Goodhew Gardens, Taren Point

Bay Breeze is located within Anglicare's Woolooware Shores retirement living village in the Sutherland Shire suburb of Taren Point. It is our newest building alongside our well-established aged care, Goodhew Gardens. The home welcomed its first resident in June 2021, Bay Breeze is home to 48 residents in its boutique style design. Among other features, the outdoor spaces on the top-level offer a captivating view.

Constructed over three levels, person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups, dementia-friendly spaces and respite and palliative care. As residents’ needs change, we strive to enable them to ‘age in place’, receiving ongoing care without the need to change rooms.

Bay Breeze has a dedicated lifestyle team to provide regular activities for residents. This team also facilitates our Rhythm of Life® program, giving residents a choice in how they spend their day from meals to activities, outings and more.

Goodhew Gardens

Since opening in 2006, our well-established Goodhew Gardens has been welcomed into the local community and is home to 123 residents. Constructed over two levels, person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups, dementia-friendly spaces and respite and palliative care.

All rooms are fitted with an electric bed, en-suite bathroom, two emergency call buttons, built in cabinetry and lockable draws, shelving and hanging space.  Rooms temperatures are controlled individually and television and computer connections available. Calculator

The price selection below is the accommodation payment, also known as the Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD). The accommodation payment can be made in a few different ways, either as;

1. An upfront lump sum payment of the RAD (which is 100% refundable on your departure)
2. A fortnightly Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) is calculated on the price of the room and any unpaid RAD and at the current MPIR (Government determined interest rate) currently 7.06%p.a, or
3. A combination of both, with a partial RAD payment and the balance paid as a DAP. The higher the RAD amount you contribute, the lower your monthly DAP will be and vice versa.
