Goodhew Gardens is located within Anglicare’s Woolooware Shores retirement living village in the Sutherland Shire suburb of Taren Point. Since opening in 2006, Goodhew Gardens has been welcomed into the local community and is home to 123 residents. Among other features, the outdoor spaces on the top-level offer a captivating view of Georges River.
Constructed over two levels, person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups, dementia-friendly spaces and respite and palliative care. As residents’ needs change, we strive to enable them to ‘age in place’, receiving ongoing care without the need to change rooms.
Goodhew Gardens has a dedicated lifestyle team to provide regular activities for residents. This team also facilitates our Rhythm of Life® program, giving residents a choice in how they spend their day from meals to activities, outings and more.
Welcoming residents from February 2021, Bay Breeze will be a stylish new addition to our well-established Goodhew Gardens residential aged care home. Bay Breeze combines the benefits of a smaller, dementia-friendly setting with the expertise of our Goodhew Gardens team.
All rooms are fitted with an electric bed, en-suite bathroom, two emergency call buttons, built in cabinetry and lockable draws, shelving and hanging space. Rooms temperatures are controlled individually and television and computer connections available.
