Marcus Loane House is located within Anglicare’s Warriewood Brook retirement living village. Since opening in 2010, Marcus Loane House has become a well-respected part of the local community and is home to a friendly group of 119 residents. Recent renovations to the entry area have provided a welcoming foyer, extensive seating spaces and a modern café for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups and spaces for memory support and palliative care. The wings are designed in a ‘L’ shape to minimise the travel distance between residents’ rooms and common areas.
Marcus Loane House has a dedicated lifestyle team to provide regular activities for residents. This team also facilitates our Rhythm of Life® program, giving residents a choice in how they spend their day from meals to activities, outings and more.
All rooms are fitted with electric beds, en-suite bathroom, built in cabinetry, a wardrobe, a cupboard and emergency call buttons with access to a balcony or courtyard. Room temperatures are individually controlled with air conditioning and televisions and phone connections available. Rooms are designed to cater for ageing in place, such that ongoing care can be provided as resident’s needs change.
