Marcus Loane House opened in 2010 and is home to 119 residents. This residential care community is located in the lovely grounds of Anglicare Warriewood Brook and offers a friendly environment to be as busy as you’d like, with the confidence of having some extra help when you need it.
Accommodation is grouped into seven wings each housing seventeen people; each wing enjoy their own dedicated care team with common areas including residents’ kitchen, lounge room, family room, balcony areas and extensive gardens.
Residents have access to a range of recreational, social and health services provided by experienced and qualified staff. The site and rooms are specifically designed to provide person-centred care in a home-like environment and maintain independence. Furthermore ageing-in-place and ongoing care is provided as residents' needs change.
All rooms are fitted with electric beds, en-suite bathroom, built in cabinetry, a wardrobe, a cupboard and emergency call buttons with access to a balcony or courtyard. Room temperatures are individually controlled with air conditioning and televisions and phone connections available. Rooms are designed to cater for ageing in place, such that ongoing care can be provided as resident’s needs change.
