Executive General Manager – Customer Strategy and Retirement Living

Fiona is an experienced business leader with over twenty years’ in high performing cultures focused on marketing, sales, consulting and thought leadership in financial services, insurance, banking, wealth management and business consulting fields.

Fiona has spent the past nine years at Macquarie, with her most recent position as Division Director, Banking and Financial Services Group, seeing her lead teams in marketing, communications, sales development, consulting services and thought leadership. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, she helped lead the cultural transformation of the group which included embracing agile ways of working, a new diversity and inclusion program, the elevation of customer experience and a re-focus on high performing teams.

Prior to Macquarie, Fiona worked in small business both as a business owner and consultant to SMEs across a range of industries, helping them manage change, engage their staff and grow their business. Previously, Fiona held leadership positions in marketing and product development at Tower/Bridges and Macquarie Investment Management, as well as an analyst at Commonwealth Bank.

Fiona holds an MBA (Exec) and Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM, and a BEc from Macquarie University.

Fiona is happily married with two teenage girls. She is an active member of St Marks Anglican, Freshwater and enjoys Pilates, swimming, running, and the very occasional bike ride.
