James joined Anglicare in 2012 initially to provide oversight of the development of Retirement Living Oran Park. He then went on to become the Director of Property and Infrastructure managing all property; Information and Technology: Risk; Compliance; and Legal aspects of the organisation. In 2016 he was appointed to manage the merger of Anglican Retirement Villages and Anglicare including coordinating resources, merger synergies and targets. Prior to coming to Anglicare he was employed in both the private and public corporate sectors as well as working for 14 years in the NSW Police Force. He holds a Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Management, Graduate Certificate in Project Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
