Our Mission is to ‘serve people in need, enrich lives, and share the love of Jesus’.
To achieve this we seek, where possible, to partner with Anglican churches.
The Partnership Development Team exists to bridge the gap between Anglicare and potential mission partners. We aim to establish and grow healthy partnerships. Our team acts as a key communication conduit to ensure co-ordinated, clear communication flows between Anglicare and the churches.
The Partnership Development team consists of five Parish Development Officers (PDOs) and is led by Roger Green (Partnership Manager). Each PDO has responsibility for a Diocesan region, and seeks to build strong connections with churches and other partners within that region.
As each church is different, so is each partnership. The Partnership Development Team is ready to discuss how your mission and ours may align, and be mutually benefit. The common thread is that all partnerships are fuelled by a desire to reach out with Christ’s love in word and deed and to connect those being served with a local church. You may not have Anglicare services in your area but the opportunities exist to form partnerships with Anglicare and churches in other areas where there is need.

Our Family Life Skills Facilitator works with churches to help equip and empower them to build family life. In discussion with a church, a course of action to help grow skills in parenting, family life or marriage is developed. This could include equipping ministry teams with skills and training for issues in family life and relationships. We seek to work in partnership to enable
each church community to utilise its strengths and harness our services where appropriate. This approach may also
be helpful in assisting churches to build family life in their local communities.
Reality Bites is a three-week Bible study series that begins to explore the complex issue of poverty and what the Bible has to say about reaching out to our neighbours in need.
