Our friendly, professionally-trained aged care nurses can help you with most of your medical needs including blood pressure checks, chest pain, wound and infection treatment, skin conditions, medications and more.
Our aged care nursing staff are all fully qualified nurses and their services are available to all our residents – as well as our home care clients. Additionally, home care clients can access nursing care through the Commonwealth Home and Community Care (HACC) program and Home Care Packages (HCP).

Anglicare has a nurse-led palliative care team who assist our residential aged care staff to provide a palliative approach and end-of-life care to our residents. The Anglicare Palliative Care Team nurses offer a consultancy and assessment service to address our residents’ needs.
Our dedicated professionals including registered nurses, carers, GP’s, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pastoral carers and Chaplains work together as a team to provide care to you and your family members.
All of these people play an important role in the end of life care of our residents to ensure you and your loved ones receive the full support you need.
Anglicare recently started a new Graduate Nursing program and this has enhanced the training of our nurses to a high level. We have qualified Nurse Educators, as well as onsite Clinical Educators, who ensure the nurses in the program are trained in how to best care for residents in the best possible manner.
Nurses from our graduate program are sent to various locations within Anglicare, so they’re exposed to a wide variety of learning opportunities for residents and clients with complex illnesses, dementia and palliative nursing needs.
